Melly Dishes started the way most good food businesses do — cooking for people who asked for it again. It's now a certified food handler-run kitchen in Ottawa turning out Nigerian classics for delivery, pickup and catering.

Nothing sits. Orders are cooked to go out, packed in sealed containers, and sent with a thank-you card. That's the whole operation, and it's why the regulars stay regular.
